Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors absolutely exploded on Thursday night.
During a game against the Orlando Magic, Curry lit up the scoreboard with 56 points, shooting 16-of-25 from the field and 12-of-19 from the three-point line in only 34 minutes.
This was easily his best game of the season and was downright historic.
According to Hoop Central, Curry now has the most 50+ point games after turning 30 years old.

Curry’s season has had a few ups and downs, with him attempting fewer three-pointers and averaging a lower point total.
Some people have even said that he is looking older and closer to retirement.
But Thursday’s game was a huge reminder of how impactful Curry can be.
Even at 36 years old, he can still shoot better than anyone else, and he is unstoppable when he gets red hot.
There was a time when Curry would have multiple crazy games like this per season, and there is no doubt that the frequency of this sort of performance has dwindled a little over the years.
But none of that matters when he is shooting like he did against the Magic.
This win gave a huge boost of energy to the Warriors, who are fighting to climb higher in the Western Conference standings.
They are the seventh team in the West and have won their last five games.
No one is expecting another historic 56-point game from Curry any time soon, but will he continue to surge as the postseason draws closer?
Warriors fans sure hope so because they know the team always does better when Curry is giving vintage performances like this.
