The Orlando Magic will have to get through the rest of the season without one of their best players.
On Tuesday, Josh Robbins reported, per NBACentral, that Jalen Suggs will be out for the remainder of 2024-25.
This news follows an arthroscopic surgery to repair his damaged left knee.
Unfortunately, the Magic won’t have Suggs for the rest of the year, but the good news is that he is expected to make a full recovery and should be back at it when the new season kicks off in the fall.

Suggs was diagnosed with his knee issue last month, and he hasn’t played a game since January 25.
While he was healthy, he averaged 16.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists on 41.0 percent from the field.
He is currently signed to a five-year, $150 million deal with the team.
The Magic have suffered a few injuries this year, but they are still in the hunt for a playoff spot.
They are currently the eighth team in the Eastern Conference with a 29-33 record.
The Magic’s big three of Suggs, Paolo Banchero, and Franz Wagner have only started in six games together this year, but they are hoping to get a lot more time together next season.
The team has a ton of talent and potential, and there is a belief the Magic could be one of the best teams in the East soon.
But if injuries keep flaring up, it’ll prevent them from moving forward.
They still have a fighting chance in 2024-25, but people feel they will be in much better shape next season, especially if Suggs and everyone else can stay healthy.
